One of the projects developed by the RWPT is the Landscape Origins of the WyeValley (2005 to the present) part funded by the LEADER+ Herefordshire Rivers programme, Heritage Lottery Fund and the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  It is concerned with the origins and development of the landscape of the 12 parishes between Fownhope and Bridstow. After a major effort on the part of the contributors, led by Heather Hurley as editor, the book about the project was published on 30th October 2008.
